When the Cleveland Warriors aren't banging helmets on the gridiron, they're chasing criminals, dousing fires and saving lives. The football players are police officers, firefighters, emergency management technicians and paramedics, medics, corrections officers, and active military personnel from the Cleveland metro area. The Warriors are part of National Public Safety Football League. The league is made up of public-safety workers from cities across the country.

The team raises money throughout the year from company sponsors and individual donations. Ticket sales to games and sales of team merchandise also augment the funds that are available to donate to charity. Each team member is responsible for the cost of their equipment. Each public safety league team is obligated to provide boarding, transportation and food for the visiting team once it reaches its destination city. Individual donations have a great impact on assisting our efforts in outfitting the team members, taking care of visiting teams, and providing charitable contributions. For more information on how you can support the team and its charitable efforts, see the links on the left on becoming a sponsor or providing donations.
